Well, it’s the end of the month and it’s time for me to do the usual thing of compiling a list of links to the ten best articles I’ve posted here this month. But, due to the high volume of reviews and a couple of “art preview” replacement articles, I’ll unfortunately give the “honourable mentions” section a miss this month.
Also, at the time of preparing this post in mid-May, I’d just spent at least an hour patching a scheduling hole in the middle of this month. Originally, I’d somehow missed out on scheduling any articles for the 14th – 17th September. So, I had to quickly patch this gap with articles that were supposed to go up at the end of this month and also discard/replace one because I no longer agreed with what I’d written in it. So, this month’s articles were all over the place in some ways. I don’t know why these scheduling gaps happen, but they sometimes do. I’m just glad I patched it.
As for reviews, there were a lot! In terms of computer games, I reviewed: a 3D platformer game called “Lunistice“, a hilarious comedy-horror game called “Crusty Proto“, a “Doom II” WAD called “Zombie Control” and a surprisingly good 2D survival horror game called “Lamentum“.
As for novel reviews, I reviewed the first and part of the second of Raymond Lee’s “Zombiewood” novels, Randy Wayne White’s “Hunter’s Moon” and – I’m still amazed that this is a book – the one and only “Garth Marenghi’s TerrorTome“.
Anyway, here’s the list 🙂 Enjoy 🙂 And sorry again about the lack of “honourable mentions” this month too.
