“I’ve very much enjoyed diving back into the haunted universe…Things are a bit different this time around though”
It’s been a while, but don’t worry, I haven’t been resting up. I’ve been truly burning the proverbial midnight oil.
Which is why today, on the holiest of Christian holidays, I am delighted to share some very exciting news. At 05:00 am today, after much anticipation, a few months, and countless cups of coffee, I’m thrilled to announce that the skeleton draft for “Haunted 4” (untitled) – book 4 of the Haunted series is officially complete! That’s right. Marco and Buddy are back in a new terrifying story, currently slated for release in early autumn 2024.
I’ve very much enjoyed diving back into the haunted universe. It’s been an incredible journey. I know this series holds a place in many hearts, not least my own as it very much felt like catching up with old friends.
Things are a bit different this time around though. In Haunted 4 (yes, still untitled) we’re venturing beyond what I affectionately like to refer to as the ‘origin trilogy’, that focused primarily on Marco, and onto a brand-new story.
Don’t worry. The essence of the series remains, with its blend of humour, suspense, and supernatural horror, but the focus is now firmly on the story rather than on Marco. So expect the unexpected—more thrills, more chills, and twists that’ll keep you guessing.
I would love to tell you all about it right now but… where’s the fun in that?
What I can say is that this book, set far from the Southwest, lays the groundwork for future stories. Though it’s all hush-hush for now, believe me when I say, there’s a lot to look forward to.
In the meantime, I’m hoping the teaser poster provides enough of a glimpse into the vibe of “Haunted 4”. 😉
