Nemesis Audiobook: It’s Officially R.E.A.D.!
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news—Nemesis, the audiobook, is officially R.E.A.D.! Yes, R.E.A.D. stands for Recorded, Edited, Approved, and Delivered. It’s our version of the old movie term, WRAP which, if you may or may not know originated in the 1920s and simply means filming is finished! It’s been used by directors ever since to signal the end of a shoot. 🎬Some people say it stands for “Wind, Reel, and Print”, but that’s likely not true. The phrase “wrap it up” meaning “finish” was already around, so it likely came from that.
But anyway, I digress! Since we’re not filmmakers, we had to create our own term. And so, the concept of being “R.E.A.D.” was born. It’s our way of celebrating the completion of a project that’s been both challenging and rewarding.
The audiobook is now in the hands of the gods—Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. We’re hoping it will be released before the end of the year, but the exact timeline is out of our control. Fingers crossed! In the meantime, how do you fancy a sneak peek at the prologue?
